Two senior executives rejoin Parsons Brinckerhoff

David A McAlister and Paul F Morris have rejoined Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), assuming senior global management positions. McAlister has been named executive vice president and global director, Strategic Planning and Development, with overall responsibility for the strategic planning and marketing functions throughout the organization. Morris has been named executive vice president and global director, strategic consulting and sustainability, responsible for the firm’s efforts at project, corporate and public levels, to exhibit best practice in reducing the effects of global warming and climate change.

“Over his 25-years at PB, Dave McAlister played a key role on many of the firm’s signature projects,” says Keith Hawksworth, PB’s president and CEO. “His diverse managerial experience in the USA and abroad and his familiarity with our operations worldwide make him the ideal candidate to spearhead the firm’s global initiatives for growth.” McAlister returns after serving for three years as a senior vice president and transportation group global director of operations at CH2M Hill, an international consulting organization.

“Paul Morris will provide the thought, leadership and technical innovation that our clients require to meet a host of environmental and sustainable development challenges,” Hawksworth continues. “His task is to broaden the company’s application of best practices in transportation, energy, water and building infrastructure – all key areas of client concern.” Morris is rejoining PB after serving two years as a vice president of Cherokee Investment Partners – a US$2 billion private equity fund that partners with communities to return environmentally impaired real estate to clean, safe and productive use.
