Lindsay acquires U-MAD

Lindsay Corporation of Omaha, Nebraska, has completed the acquisition of U-Mad mobile crash barrier businesses and will market the products through its subsidiary Barrier Systems.

The impact absorbers are mounted on trucks and trailers to improve motorist safety and protect highway workers in work zones.

“We are pleased to announce the completion of this acquisition,” says Rick Parod, Lindsay’s president and chief executive officer. “[It] is an excellent product extension for both Barrier Systems and our European company, Snoline, which are achieving global growth through government funded safety and congestion mitigation programmes.”
