Jenoptik wins two orders in Poland

Jenoptik’s Traffic Solutions division has announced that its sales partner in Poland, Lifor Sp Zoo, has won two orders for traffic camera systems in the country, totaling over 100 stationary measuring units. The Jenoptik division has been operating in Poland since 2004 and has already installed around 100 systems in the country. The two new orders are for the central Polish transport agency, GITD, and the police in Warsaw.

The order from GITD includes the delivery and installation of almost 100 MultaRadar SD580 stationary speed measuring devices, which will be integrated within a new national traffic monitoring network in Poland that will be operated by the agency. The MultaRadar SD580 will become the most advanced stationary speed monitoring system currently operating in Poland. It is able to simultaneously monitor several lanes of traffic, guaranteeing unambiguous allocation of a violation to one vehicle.

In addition to the order from GITD, the company has also received an order for stationary traffic safety systems from the Warsaw police. The contract includes the installation of around 20 MultaRadar SD580 speed measuring devices, as well as a number of Jenoptik’s TraffiStar SR520 systems, which capture both red light and speeding violations simultaneously.
