Bridge Load Rating Engineer - BE5 – Washington State Department of Transportation

Tumwater, Washington, USA

Salary: US$69,240-US$90,888 (annually)

The Opportunity: 
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Bridge and Structures Office is currently seeking an experienced engineer to fill the Bridge Load Rating Engineer - BE5 vacancy. 

This Load Rating Engineer is responsible for conducting complex bridge load ratings to determine if there is a need for load posting or other traffic restrictions, or to determine if there is a need for structural modifications to increase live load capacity. The position will also review load ratings completed by consultant contractors.

This position will give you the opportunity to be an expert in your field and work with hard working, knowledgeable, hands-on professionals in bridge engineering.

If you have a background in bridge engineering and want to be part of a team that is responsible for the safety of the traveling public, this may be your new opportunity!
