Assistant Project Engineer – Design Build – Washington State Department of Transportation

Thurston County, Tumwater, Washington, USA

Salary: US$73,188-US$93,852 (annually)

The Opportunity:  
The Olympic Region Construction office located in Tumwater, Washington, USA, is responsible for leading, directing and managing the region construction program.

This team is looking for an Assistant Project Engineer to help them support the delivery of the region's design-build (DB) program by assisting Project Offices with the development and administration of DB contracts (SR 16 HOV Connectors, JBLM, I-5 SB HOV, US 101 Coffee Creek). 

The Assistant Project Engineer is responsible for providing project-specific DB support with procurement (RFQ/ITP/RFP) and contract administration. The position assists the Project Engineer in providing leadership, management, and engineering oversight to a field office responsible for the delivery of design and construction projects.
