Transportation Systems Technician A – Washington State Department of Transportation

Salary: U$44,400-US$54,072 (annually)


The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking to fill a Transportation Systems Technician A position out of its Transportation Data GIS & Modeling Office (TDGMO) in Tumwater, Washington.

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of electronic traffic data collection equipment.

Equipment includes weigh-in-motion, automated data collection and automatic vehicle identification systems in the field as well as telemetry equipment.

This position will be a great fit for someone who demonstrates good judgment, takes initiative to get things done and enjoys the challenge of working in occasional high-pressure environments.
