Testing Engineer – Perceptics

Position Summary
Immediate opening for an experienced Testing Engineer. Coordinate among the various engineering departments so that proper steps can be been taken to ensure that product performance and customer contract requirements have been met.

Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for planning, designing and developing test methods and procedures necessary to properly identify and test finished products.
Help coordinate testing activities between engineering groups to ensure that products under development have been thoroughly tested and results properly documented.
Work with testing department to ensure that testing personnel have all necessary equipment, training and documentation needed to properly test finished products.
Provide input to R&D and Product Engineering to help ensure that hardware and software designs meet customer contract requirements as well as product performance specification.
Provide input to the R&D engineering team throughout new product development phases.
Develop, perform and document regression tests.
Help develop and maintain an effective configuration management system.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Minimum 4 years’ work experience in planning and execution of product testing in a high-tech electronics field.

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills: 

Experience with testing of hardware and software equipment (including analog and digital devices, microprocessor-based systems, network communication).
Proven record of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision.
