Maintenance Technician 2 - Region-wide Crew – Washington State Department of Transportation

Vancouver, Washington, USA

Salary: U$39,312-US$47,820 (annually)

The Opportunity:
The Southwest Region is currently seeking to fill several Maintenance Technician positions. This presents an opportunity on our region-wide striping, signs and raised pavement marker (Button) crew.

This crew will report to Vancouver, but is often required to travel for extended periods of time across the Southwest Region. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are mechanically inclined and enjoy the outdoors.

We are in need of a wide variety of skilled, hardworking people to fill these positions. The successful candidates will be those who are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

These team members will assist with the maintenance and operations of the state highways, and adjacent right of ways to assure they remain in a condition that promotes the movement of traffic, and safety to the motoring public. 

Please note these are permanent and career seasonal positions. Career seasonal positions will work up to nine months a year, with the expectation to return the following season. Applicants will be considered for either type of position.
