Construction Administration Specialist - Transportation Engineer 4 – Washington State Department of Transportation

Salary: US$67,584-US$90,888 (annually)

The Opportunity:
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) State Construction Office is seeking an experienced engineer to fill the vacancy of Construction Administration Specialist – Transportation Engineer 4 in Olympia, Washington, USA.

As a member of the State Construction Administration team, you will work to ensure documentation requirements for statewide construction projects meet state and federal regulations.

This position is responsible for communicating these requirements through the WSDOT Construction Manual, providing training to project office staff, administrating WSDOT's apprentice utilization program, and assisting in the statewide audit program required to maintain federal funding.

NOTE: This position is opened until filled. The first round assessment will be conducted on May 16, 2018. The agency reserves the right to make an appointment any time after the initial screening date. It is to the candidate's advantage to apply early.
