Maintenance Lead Technician – Washington State Department of Transportation

Shelton, Washington, USA

Salary: US$50,004-US$60,924 (annually)

The Opportunity:
The Olympic Region, Maintenance Area 2, is seeking a highly motivated leader who can step in and direct the maintenance crew in the Shelton maintenance facility.

With a commitment to safety, the Maintenance Lead Technician will provide direction and guidance to the Shelton crew. Directing this crew requires an individual who is able to independently make decisions regarding the daily work of the crew members, which include repairing roadways and roadway shoulders, roadside mowing, spraying snow and ice removal, large tree removal, cutting brush, maintaining culverts and catch basins, providing traffic control for these operations, and maintaining highways in the Mason County area. 

Our Maintenance Lead Technician is a working crew leader who will stress crew safety in all work performed, and be instrumental in training personnel in maintenance functions and equipment operations.
