Assistant Project Manager – Port Angeles (WMS2) – Washington State Department of Transportation

Salary: US$74,652-US$95,724 (annually)

The Opportunity:
The Washington State Department of Transportation's (WSDOT) Olympic Region is seeking a professional engineer to assist in providing strategic leadership to the Port Angeles Project Engineering office.

As the Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the delivery of projects from design and contract procurement through construction administration and project closeout.

The selected candidate will ensure all assigned projects are managed according to WSDOT policy, delivered on schedule, within budget, and constructible, maintainable and cost effective.

In this role, you will assist with mentoring and developing an engineering staff of approximately 20 engineers. Work requires collaboration and coordination with other regions, project offices, local agencies, Federal Highways Administration (FHWA) and permitting agencies.
