Roger Millar, secretary of transportation for Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) appeared on a recent episode of the ITE Talks Transportation podcast. In this clip he shares with host Bernie Wagenblast how deaths on the road cost the state US$8.5 billion – which works out as more than double that of what it costs to deal with traffic congestion.
