SRL Traffic Systems, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of mobile ITS has appointed Mark Eburne as chief executive officer.
The new CEO has 25 years’ senior leadership experience and has worked extensively throughout the utilities, hire and construction sectors. He will bring considerable commercial expertise, which will be beneficial to SRL as it continues its growth journey. He joined SRL on April 29, 2024 from tool, fixings and building supplies retailer, FFX Group, where he was CEO.
Eburne will lead SRL as it embarks on the next stage of its ambitious growth strategy, with a continued focus on serving customers with a unique rental and service proposition.
Highlights of the last year include the expansion of the company’s product portfolio to incorporate one of the first solar powered mobile traffic signals and the strengthening of its nationwide distribution network of over 30 depots – the UK and RoI’s largest – with the launch of two new strategic centres in East Grinstead and Aberdeen.
“I am joining SRL at an extremely exciting point in its development and look forward to working with its team to elevate the company to the next level,” says Eburne. “SRL has tremendous growth potential, with passionate and hardworking people, a market-leading and unique customer service offering, exceptional products, and strong investor support from 3i Infrastructure.”
“Mark is a highly experienced CEO with a strong track-record of the kind of decisive, engaging leadership that will drive SRL forward,” says SRL’s executive chairman, Richard Tredwin.
