One of the UK’s leading suppliers of highways and asset management software is continuing with its expansion plans to introduce its systems to new markets with the formation of a partnership in Germany.
Yotta has announced it has signed a partnership agreement with Lehmann + Partner, a German service provider for transportation infrastructure analysis, to work together to deliver strategic asset management solutions and services to municipalities across Germany. As part of the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to deliver Yotta’s Horizons visualized asset management platform into many of Lehmann + Partner’s municipality clients across Germany.
In line with this, Lehmann + Partner recently showcased the Horizons software platform at the prestigious German road congress Deutscher Straßen- und Verkehrskongress in Bremen, Germany, running demonstrations and introducing the system to its clients and other highway professionals from across the country. The company is well known in Germany as a provider of the decision-making basis for the preservation and maintenance of traffic infrastructure. Using state-of-the-art technologies, Lehmann + Partner compiles and evaluates all relevant information on what is on, below or beside road surfaces. The data is recorded in databases and geographic information systems and is used for the operation, value preservation and development of road networks.
Currently running as version 2.7, Horizons is a visualized software-as-a-service (SaaS) asset management platform, which is designed to make it easier for asset managers to visualize, manage and optimize all their asset management strategies and records using a single cloud-based solution. Horizons is now used by around 55 UK local authorities, in addition to service partners and maintenance contractors. The new partners are already working together on Horizons projects with two clients in Germany. Moving forward, Lehmann + Partner is actively looking to work with Yotta to further develop Horizons and strengthen opportunities in the German market.
“For us, working with Yotta is a perfect fit,” said Alexander Bock, authorized manager at Lehmann + Partner. “We collect data on the conditions of the roads, run surveys, and deliver consultancy to our clients about their road inventory requirements and finances.
“Working with Yotta and its Horizons software gives us the opportunity to extract more strategic insight from the data we gather, and deliver that enhanced awareness to them in an optimum way. This will in turn allow our customers to bring together diverse data-sets to improve the decision-making process and plan ahead by exploring a wide array of different long term maintenance strategies and programs of work.”
Simon Topp, director of marketing and international business at Yotta, commented, “We are very excited about the potential of the new alliance with Lehmann + Partner. The two companies have complementary service and solution offerings. We concentrate on the delivery of strategic highways asset management software, while Lehmann + Partner’s strength is in data collection, measurement and consultancy. But both companies share a similar business culture: a common vision of how strategic asset management can transform highways infrastructure, and a clear focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs.
