TomTom’s global business development manager, Doug Gilmour, reveals his company’s ambition to build the largest interactive, collaborative map in the world, which will be used both for traffic planning and modelling, by using historical data, as well as live traffic management, harnessing real-time information. Across the world, and with its partners at ITS America, TomTom uses data to help cities and traffic managers improve safety, reduce emissions and fight congestion.
