PTV Group and Econolite have announced that they will present their joint Mobility Tech Suite at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2024 later this month under their unified brand Umovity.
From April 16 to 19, the two companies will jointly exhibit their transportation planning and traffic management solutions under the Umovity brand. Alongside simulation and modeling software, the showcase will feature intelligent traffic management technologies, controllers, cabinets, and sensor products.
Attendees at the Umovity booth #216, located in hall 2 (02.216), will delve into the forefront of traffic management innovation, geared toward optimizing traffic flow, enhancing capacity, and fortifying road safety and sustainability.
In addition to PTV Optima, PTV’s flagship product deployed in cities like Taichung, Vienna, and Rome, the software provider will introduce PTV Flows. The new cloud tool, powered by AI and machine learning, can visualize incidents in the road network and forecast unexpected congestion up to two hours in advance, all without reliance on advanced traffic management infrastructures or detectors.
Highlighted at the Umovity booth are PTV Model2Go, a smart automation technology capable of swiftly creating a traffic model within a week, alongside PTV Access, which offers insightful data visualization and dashboards.
Visitors can also discover Econolite’s EVO RADAR, a radar detection system, engineered to mitigate travel times and alleviate traffic congestion while enhancing intersection safety. Additionally, the booth will showcase Centracs, Econolite’s advanced traffic management system that seamlessly integrates with PTV software, ensuring system reliability and optimized mobility.
Detailed information about the solutions will be available to visitors through various in-booth sessions. Luca Paone, senior product manager at PTV Group, for example, will explain “How to set up a traffic management system in seven days” on Tuesday, April 16, at 3:30pm and Wednesday, April 17, at 11:15am. Another session will provide exclusive insights into Hamburg’s pioneering project #transmove: “Effective traffic management through AI-supported mobility forecasts” (Thursday, April 18, 2:20pm).
Additionally, Umovity experts will be featured speakers in the Intertraffic Summit Program.
