ERTICO – ITS Europe has announced that registration is now open for the 16th ITS European Congress, which will take place in Seville, Spain, May 19-21, 2025.
The even promises to bring together more than 3,000 industry professionals, policymakers, researchers, and innovators to explore developments shaping the future of intelligent transport systems (ITS).
A preliminary program has also been released detailing some 105 Specialist Sessions, including over 75 Special Interest and Strategic Future Sessions, exploring industry trends, policy advancements, and innovations. Additionally, there will be over 30 Paper Sessions showcasing the latest research and technological advancements in ITS.
Three plenary sessions have also been announced. The keynote speakers are European Parliament MEP Virginijus Sinkevicius, Herald Ruijters, deputy director general of European Commission DG MOVE, and Jim Misener, global V2X lead at Qualcomm.
Beyond the conference sessions and plenaries, the ITS European Congress will offer networking, hands-on learning, and business opportunities. Attendees can look forward to an interactive exhibition featuring over 100 exhibitors showcasing ITS solutions and innovations.
Live demonstrations will allow attendees to experience mobility technologies in real-world applications. Exclusive networking events, including the ITS Dinner, will provide opportunities to connect with key stakeholders and peers. Technical visits will offer a behind-the-scenes look at Seville’s smart mobility initiatives.
