Additionally, Glance 2.0 integrates with major traffic signal control software and offers real-time traffic information through Google Maps. The platform supports a range of connected devices and offers access to live video feeds from traffic cameras, allowing users to assess current traffic conditions. School beacon scheduling has also been improved with preconfigured holiday schedules.
Another notable enhancement is the platform’s ability to manage connected vehicle applications, including fleet tracking and the use of cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technology. Glance 2.0 provides tools for evaluating traffic signal preemption systems through vehicle route playback and speed profile analysis. The new Arterial View feature offers a detailed view of critical traffic corridors, particularly during high-traffic periods.
