Ahead of the ITS World Congress, which is taking place in Copenhagen from September 17-21, 2018, ERTICO ITS Europe has announced that a new Mobility as a Service (MaaS) app will be available for delegates to test and use when traveling in the Danish city.
MinRejseplan, created by Transport Authority for Northern Denmark, is a new generation of the Rejseplanen journey planner app. Compared with Rejseplanen’s systems and functionality, MinRejseplan will provide a better choice between the various means of transportation by integrating both public and private mobility modes.
The MinRejseplan app will allow travelers to plan their journeys from a selection of transportation and mobility modes – from trains, buses and the Metro, to city bikes, taxis, carpooling and car sharing. It will also allow users to plan their journeys according to eparture dates and times, prices, and trip durations.
MaaS will be a key area of focus for the upcoming annual ITS World Congress – the world’s largest international congress for intelligent transport systems (ITS). A digital ticket for transportation via MinRejseplan – valid on transportation modes in the city of Copenhagen – will be available for delegates to download and test at the event.Â
