Two of the UK’s leading suppliers of traffic control management systems have been awarded places on the Crown Commercial Service’s Traffic Management Technology 2 (TMT2) agreement, which enables the supply and installation of traffic technology equipment and services for use by the country’s public sector organizations.
The TMT2 agreement provides public sector organizations, including Highways England (HE), devolved administrations, local transport authorities, and Transport for London (TfL), with access to a wide range of traffic management technology products, solutions and services, including traffic signals, and parking and access control systems.
Clearview Intelligence has been successfully awarded places under Lots 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 13, 14 and 15, covering: traffic signal junctions, controlled pedestrian crossings and ramp metering, traffic monitoring and traffic enforcement cameras, variable message signs (VMS), parking and access control systems, urban traffic management control (UTMC) and common database systems, ancillary roadside equipment, and intelligent transport systems (ITS), all in isolation or as a combined. Use of the NEC3 suite of contracts to access the agreement is anticipated to make transacting simpler and more efficient for all involved parties. NEC is a division of Thomas Telford, the commercial arm of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

As well as its use by central and local government organizations, the TMT2 agreement can also be used right across the UK public sector including, health, education, emergency services, defense, and not-for-profit organizations. An online catalog is available for the direct purchase of a range of fixed price products and services, and use of the NEC3 suite of contracts speeds up transactions.
