The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and partner organizations are encouraging as many people as possible to participate in its ‘Video Analytics Towards Vision Zero’ project. This video shows what sort of tasks the public will be able to carry out, in order to teach computers how to analyze traffic video footage, identify objects that formulate traffic (pedestrians, bicycles and motorized vehicles), and to recognize near-miss collisions.
