This field test shows how the number of antenna on a connected vehicle can be reduced to just one for smaller vehicles, with flat roofs, with no disruption to the strength of the signal. Such set ups should help to make the roll out of connected vehicles cheaper by reducing the amount of hardware required. The test was carried out by V2X suppliers Autotalks.
